Gripping from the first words to the very last. If emotions are what you are looking for in what you read, then Suitcase of Secrets is what you are looking for. Ms. Hannah takes us on a childhood journey of tragedy and despair, pain and hopelessness through an adulthood of a myriad of problems to a conclusion of overcoming the odds and the personal successes of a brave and courageous woman. It took a lot of courage for our heroine to dredge up the past abuses in her life and to come out on the other end a winner. Ms. Hannah takes us along this wondrous journey as if we are right there beside her the whole way. I hghly recommend this book - you will not be disappointed in taking this trip with her.

A super book that made me cry, laugh, and really think about how hidden our secrets really are from the world around us. The story grabbed my heart from the beginning and made me want to make a difference in the world to protect the innocent. It was deeply moving, sad, happy and most of all uplifting to see how strong one person can be when the world around her was so distant and cold. The real truth that we all seek is found at the end of this story. I highly recommend it!
This book is poorly written. The store line is jumbled up and in some instances doesn't even make sense. At one point the writer mentioned the mom getting a divorce a few years before the brother attempted to commit suicide, then later on in the book, the day before her wedding she spends the night at hers parents house and the dad is back in the picture. So which one is it?
Multiple times I have almost given up finishing the book but for the sake of my OCD and finding out the conclusion to this disaster I will carry on.
